Can I Take ProDentim Twice a Day? The Short Answer Is No
Can I take ProDentim twice a day? No source says you should. The sales page gives one tablet every morning, and the label images print no amount per tablet. Nothing shows that more works better, and a second tablet empties a 30-tablet tub in 15 days.

Is it okay to take ProDentim twice a day?
No. The only amount on record is one tablet a day, from the sales page (ProDentim sales page).
That page sets no higher dose, no "up to" figure and no plan for a second tablet. The label images print no directions that could allow one.
Taking twice the count means taking an unknown amount, because the strain split and the blend amounts are not printed. A guess at a double is still a guess.
Does more ProDentim work faster or better?
There is no evidence that it does. No trial of this tablet was found, so no dose has been tested at all.
Studies of other probiotic strains tie effects to the strain and the dose studied, and they do not show that doubling helps (Hill et al. 2014, ISAPP consensus). Results in oral studies are small and mixed (Benavides-Reyes 2025, probiotics & perio).
The FDA also notes that supplements can carry side effects and advises talking to a health professional first (FDA, Using Dietary Supplements). A higher count of live cells can matter for people with weak immunity, where rare serious infections have been reported (Costa 2018, probiotic infections SR).
So the risk of extra is unknown, and the gain is unproven.
The urge to double up usually comes from wanting quicker results. The sales page promises none on a timetable, so there is no clock that a second tablet could beat.
Patience costs less. Give the one-a-day routine a few weeks, then judge it with your dentist.
What does twice a day do to your supply?
It halves it. A tub holds 30 soft tablets, so two a day lasts 15 days instead of 30.
You would also pay twice as often for the same plan. At the sales-page prices read on October 19, 2026, the bottle price and the day count change like this.
| Pack | Days at one a day | Days at two a day | Price per bottle |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2 bottles | 60 | 30 | $79 |
| 3 bottles | 90 | 45 | $69 |
| 6 bottles | 180 | 90 | $49 |
The day counts are our arithmetic, since the sales page leaves its day-supply figures blank.
What should you do instead of doubling up?
Keep to one tablet and look at the rest of your day. Brush twice a day for two minutes with fluoride toothpaste (ADA MouthHealthy, Brushing Your Teeth).
Clean between your teeth daily, and see your dentist on the schedule they give you (ADA MouthHealthy, Flossing). Those habits have clear support, and no tablet takes their place.
If you missed a morning, skip it and carry on. Do not add the missed tablet to the next one.
When should you talk to a clinician about the amount?
Talk to one before you start if you take medicine, are very ill, are pregnant or nursing, or are buying for a child. NIH ODS and NCCIH advise this (NIH ODS, Probiotics (HP)) (NCCIH, Probiotics: Usefulness & Safety).
If you already took more than one by mistake, go back to one a day. Call a pharmacist if you feel unwell, and stop and call a clinician for swelling, a rash, or severe stomach upset.
Keep taking any prescribed medicine exactly as directed. Our ProDentim how to use page gives the one-a-day routine, and the side effects page lists the warning signs.
FAQ01
ProDentim twice a day: quick answers
Would two ProDentim tablets give me twice the benefit?
No evidence says so. The benefits on the label are claims, and no trial of the tablet exists. A second tablet only doubles an amount that is not printed, and it halves how long the tub lasts.
Could I split the one daily tablet into morning and evening?
The sales page says to slowly chew one tablet, and it gives no splitting rule. The tablet is soft and meant to dissolve, so halving it is not described anywhere we read. Keep it whole and follow the printed routine.
What if a friend takes two a day and says it is fine?
A friend's habit is not evidence. Their tub, health and medicines differ from yours. Stay with the one-a-day amount from the sales page, and ask a clinician if you are tempted to raise it.
