Testing and quality

ProDentim testing and quality: what is shown and what is only claimed

Quick answer

ProDentim testing and quality claims come from the seller's badges, a lot number and a CoA number. No certifier, lab or audit date is named for any of them. The tablet itself has no published trial. We list what each badge says, what it cannot show and what to ask the order desk.

The short answer01

Is ProDentim tested for quality?

The seller says so, but no test report is public. The label images, the sales page and the badge set name no laboratory, no certifier and no audit date.

That is not proof of poor quality. It means a buyer cannot check the claim from public papers alone. We treat each badge as the seller's description of itself.

Two numbers are on file as seller references: lot PRO-26/PR-1321 and CoA PRO-1321-26-PR. A CoA is a certificate of analysis. Without the lab's name and the date, it is a reference, not lab proof.

The label images also print no lot, no distributor line and no country of manufacture. Look on your own tub for those.

What we did and did not do

We read the label images and the sales page (ProDentim sales page). We did not test a tablet, and we hold no lab report.

Badges02

What do the ProDentim quality badges mean?

Each badge is a picture supplied with the brand's image set. It says what the seller wants known, such as "dairy free" or "GMP". It names no outside body.

Seals that look official can mislead. Ask three questions of any badge: who issued it, when, and where can I read it?

Good Manufacturing Practice badge
Good Manufacturing Practice

A brand badge. No factory, certifier or audit date is named in the assets.

FDA registered facility badge
FDA registered facility

A brand badge. The sales page says 'FDA-approved facility'; FDA registers facilities and does not approve them.

Manufactured in the USA badge
Manufactured in the USA

A brand badge. No country of manufacture is printed in the label images.

GMO free badge
GMO free

A brand badge, also a sales-page line ('Non-GMO'). No outside certification is printed.

100% natural ingredients badge
100% natural ingredients

A brand badge. 'Natural' has no set meaning for supplements.

60-day money-back guarantee badge
60-day money-back guarantee

Matches the sales page: 60 days, counted from purchase in the brief and from delivery on the brand's refund page.

Each badge comes from the brand's own image set. A badge is a claim by the seller, not a certificate: none names a certifier, lab or audit. FDA does not approve supplements before they are sold (FDA, Using Dietary Supplements); facility registration is not approval (PolitiFact 2025, 'FDA registered'); and health claims in ads need real evidence (FTC, Health Products Compliance Guidance).

Four more badges make free-from and quality statements, such as "dairy free", "gluten free" and "vegetarian". They sit beside the others on the brand's pictures, and none can be checked against a label panel.

Dairy free badge
Dairy free

A brand badge. No allergen statement is in the assets, so it cannot be checked against a panel.

Gluten free badge
Gluten free

A brand badge, also a sales-page line ('Gluten Free'). No testing is named.

Vegetarian badge
Vegetarian

A brand badge. No ingredient list beyond four named items is available.

Doctor formulated badge
Doctor formulated

A brand badge. The sales page names no doctor.

Fast and free shipping badge
Fast and free shipping

US shipping is free on the sales page: 5-7 working days.

Free-from and shipping badges are the seller's claims. No allergen statement or Supplement Facts panel is in the images, so none of them can be checked against a label.

FDA03

Is ProDentim made in an FDA-approved facility?

No facility is named, and the FDA does not approve supplement facilities. The sales page uses the phrase "FDA-approved facility", which is not an official status.

The FDA lets facilities register and does not approve them (FDA 2022, 'Is It Really FDA Approved?'). It also does not approve dietary supplements before they are sold (FDA, Using Dietary Supplements) (PolitiFact 2025, 'FDA registered').

Good manufacturing practice rules apply to supplement makers (FDA, CGMPs for Dietary Supplements). A "GMP" badge may refer to them, but with no certifier named it cannot be checked.

The label images print no registration number. The sales page names BuyGoods as the retailer, but no manufacturer (ProDentim sales page).

Claim check04

Which ProDentim quality claims can be checked?

Most cannot, because the supporting paper is missing. The table sorts the claims we found into what is visible and what is only stated.

Probiotic quality05

What should a probiotic label show about quality?

A good probiotic label shows the strain name, the count of live cells at the end of shelf life and the directions. ISAPP explains how to read these lines (ISAPP, Decoding a Probiotic Label).

Effects depend on the strain, so a species name alone is not enough (Hill et al. 2014, ISAPP consensus). On the sales page, only B. lactis BL-04 has a strain code.

  • Full strain names, with codes
  • Amount per strain, in CFU
  • Count guaranteed to the expiry date
  • Storage and expiry date

The ProDentim images show none of these four lines. A probiotic count can also fall in heat, so keep the tub closed and dry.

Evidence06

Has the ProDentim tablet been tested in a trial?

No published trial of the finished tablet was found. Studies exist on other strains, mostly as lozenges or in dairy foods.

Reviews of probiotics for gum disease and decay report small and mixed results (Benavides-Reyes 2025, probiotics & perio) (SR 2025, probiotics & caries prevention). Those results do not carry over to a tablet with unknown amounts.

The sales page says "Clinically Researched Formula For:" above the three label bullets. Research on a strain is not research on this product. See do oral probiotics work?

What to do07

What can you ask the order desk about quality?

Ask for documents, not reassurance. Call +1 (302) 200-3480 (BuyGoods default order desk) and keep your order ID and your lot code ready.

  1. Read your tub

Find the lot, expiry date and any panel on the tub itself.

  2. Ask for the CoA

Request the lab name, the date and the strain counts for your lot.

  3. Ask who makes it

Request the maker and the facility named on the document.

  4. Keep the reply

Save the answer. If none comes, weigh that in your decision.

Use the ProDentim lot number check to compare your tub with the seller's reference.

Keep your routine

Brush twice a day with fluoride toothpaste (ADA MouthHealthy, Brushing Your Teeth), clean between your teeth daily (ADA MouthHealthy, Flossing), see your dentist regularly and keep taking prescribed medicine as directed. Quality badges do not change that.

FAQ08

Questions about ProDentim testing and quality

Does ProDentim have a certificate of analysis?

The seller lists a CoA number, but no laboratory or date is named. Without those, it is a seller reference, not lab proof. Ask the order desk for the full document for your lot.

Is the ProDentim lot number proof of testing?

No. A lot number only identifies a batch. It shows nothing about what was tested. The lot on file is a seller reference, and the label images print no lot of their own.

Are the ProDentim GMP and made in USA badges verified?

No. Both come from the brand's image set. No audit, certifier or facility is named, and the label images print no country of manufacture. Treat them as the seller's description.

Is ProDentim third-party tested?

That is not shown. No outside lab is named on the label images, the sales page or the badges. Ask the order desk for the testing lab's name and the report date.

How should I store ProDentim to keep it in good condition?

The images print no storage line. Our reminder: keep the tub closed in a cool, dry place and out of reach of children. Check your own tub for the maker's instructions.

What does a CFU count tell you on a probiotic?

CFU means colony forming units, a count of live cells. It is only useful per strain and at expiry. The sales page gives one total of 3.5 billion and no per-strain split.
