Can ProDentim Regrow Gums? What Gums and Enamel Can and Cannot Do
Can ProDentim regrow gums? No. Gum tissue and enamel do not regrow from a supplement, and no source says a probiotic restores them. Dentists use grafts and fillings for lost tissue. ProDentim has no published trial, so keep brushing, flossing and seeing your dentist.

Can ProDentim regrow gums or teeth?
No, ProDentim cannot regrow gums or teeth. It is a dietary supplement in soft tablets, and no study shows any supplement growing back lost gum tissue or enamel.
The label makes no such promise. It reads "Healthy Teeth and Gums", which is a general wellness phrase and not a repair claim. If an ad or video suggests a tablet can rebuild your mouth, treat that as a red flag.
The FTC warns that fake endorsements and doctored videos are common in supplement ads (FTC, Fake celebrity endorsements).
Why do receded gums not grow back?
Receded gums do not grow back because the lost tissue does not regenerate on its own. Once the root is exposed, it stays exposed unless a dentist covers it.
A periodontist can perform gum graft surgery, taking tissue from the palate or another source to cover the root and limit further recession and bone loss (AAP, Surgical Procedures (gum graft)). No source suggests that lost gum tissue returns with a supplement.
Gum recession is often silent until it is advanced. If your teeth look longer or feel sensitive at the gum line, book a dental exam.
| What is lost | Does it grow back? | Who helps |
|---|---|---|
| Gum tissue (recession) | No | A periodontist, with a graft if needed |
| Enamel (surface gone) | No | A dentist, with a filling or crown |
| Minerals in early enamel loss | Can be replaced | Fluoride and a dentist's advice |
| Inflamed gums (gingivitis) | Often settle with care | Daily cleaning and a professional cleaning |
Does enamel ever come back?
Enamel does not regrow once it is gone, but early mineral loss can be reversed. That is a different thing from growing new enamel.
In early decay, fluoride can replace lost minerals and stop the damage before a hole forms (NIDCR, Reverse tooth decay early). Once a cavity forms, the damage is permanent and a dentist repairs it with a filling.
Putting minerals back into weakened enamel is possible early on. Growing back a lost tooth surface or lost gum is not possible with a tablet. The right next step for either is a dentist.
The sales page lists tricalcium phosphate in the blend and says it "Supports tooth health". Lab work on tricalcium phosphate in toothpaste says little about a swallowed chewable (Hamba 2020, fTCP toothpaste in vitro). No amount is printed.
What can you do for gums and teeth that are already worn?
Start with a dental exam. A dentist can tell whether you have gingivitis, gum disease, recession or decay, and these need different care.
Gingivitis can usually be reversed with daily brushing, cleaning between teeth and a professional cleaning (MedlinePlus, Gingivitis). Advanced gum disease needs professional treatment (NIDCR, Gum Disease).
- Brush twice a day with fluoride toothpaste, gently (ADA MouthHealthy, Brushing Your Teeth).
- Clean between your teeth daily.
- Ask about fluoride products for sensitive or worn areas.
- Keep taking any prescribed medicine exactly as directed.
What can a probiotic honestly offer?
A probiotic may be an optional daily habit, and that is all the evidence allows us to say. Small trials of other strains show mixed changes in gum scores, and none tested this tablet (Benavides-Reyes 2025, probiotics & perio).
If you like the idea, treat it as an extra on top of your dental care. Ask a clinician first if you take antibiotics, have a weak immune system or are pregnant (NCCIH, Probiotics: Usefulness & Safety).
Our ProDentim benefits page sets each label claim beside the research, and is ProDentim legit? covers the sales copy.
FAQ01
Regrowth questions, short answers
Does the ProDentim label promise to rebuild teeth?
No. The label front says "Healthy Teeth and Gums", "Long Lasting Fresh Breath" and "Ear, Nose and Throat Immune Health". None of these lines promises new gum or tooth tissue, and we would not accept such a claim without trial evidence.
Who can restore gum tissue that has been lost?
A periodontist can do gum graft surgery to cover exposed roots (AAP, Surgical Procedures (gum graft)). Your general dentist can refer you. This is a procedure, not something a tablet can do.
Can a white spot on enamel go away?
Sometimes, in its earliest stage. A white spot can be an early sign of decay, and fluoride care can halt it before a hole forms (NIDCR, The Tooth Decay Process) (NIDCR, Reverse tooth decay early). Ask your dentist to check it.
Why do some ads say supplements regrow teeth?
Such ads often rely on stories with no trial behind them. The FTC says health claims need competent and reliable scientific evidence (FTC, Health Products Compliance Guidance). Search the product name with the word scam or complaints before you trust one.
