Does ProDentim Contain Sugar? A Candy Called a Supplement
Does ProDentim contain sugar? We cannot confirm it either way. The sales page calls the tablet a "dissolvable candy", but the label images print no sweetener, no sugar line and no other-ingredients line. Because the product is for the mouth, sugar is worth asking about before you start.

Does ProDentim contain sugar?
It may, but nothing we have read says so, and nothing says it does not.
The front of the tub reads "30 Soft Tablets". The images print no sugar line, no sweetener and no nutrition facts. See No Supplement Facts panel is in the images supplied. The sales page names three probiotic strains (3.5 billion in total) and a 'Proprietary Blend of 4 Plants and Minerals'; per-strain amounts, blend weights and other ingredients are not printed there. for what is missing.
So "sugar free" cannot be claimed for ProDentim, and neither can "contains sugar". The honest status is unconfirmed, and the panel on your own tub is the place to check.
What does the candy wording tell us?
The sales page FAQ describes the product as a "dissolvable candy", which is a description of form and not a list of contents (ProDentim sales page).
Candy is an everyday word for a sweet that dissolves or is chewed. Many chewable tablets are sweetened, often with sugar, sugar alcohols or a high-intensity sweetener. Some are not sweetened at all.
The same page also says to "slowly chew" one tablet each morning. That is useful, but it does not tell us what gives the tablet its taste. A strawberry on the tub is art, not a statement of flavor or sweetener.
Our ProDentim ingredients page shows the seven lines the sales page does name. None of them is a sweetener.
That leaves a gap. If the tablet tastes sweet, something makes it so, and that something is not on the list. It could be a small amount of sugar, a sugar alcohol, a plant sweetener or just the fruit acid and mint. Only the full panel can say.
Why does sugar matter for a mouth product?
Sugar matters because mouth bacteria turn it into acid, and acid is what wears at enamel.
The ADA explains that sugary foods and drinks feed the bacteria in plaque, which produce acids that start decay (ADA MouthHealthy, Sugary Drinks). How often sugar touches your teeth counts as much as how much.
A tablet that dissolves slowly and contains sugar would keep sugar near the teeth for a while. A tablet with a non-sugar sweetener would not feed decay in the same way. Which one ProDentim is, we cannot say.
A product aimed at your teeth should not quietly work against them. Knowing the sweetener lets you weigh that for yourself, and raise it with your dentist.
Who needs a firm answer about sugar?
People managing diabetes or blood sugar, people on a low-sugar diet and people prone to cavities should ask first.
Sugar alcohols and some sweeteners can also upset the stomach in larger amounts. That is a general food fact and not a finding about this tablet.

What can you do to find out?
Read the panel and the other-ingredients line on your own tub as soon as it arrives, before the first tablet.
If you cannot find them, call the retailer desk on +1 (302) 200-3480 and ask in writing for the sweetener and sugar content per tablet.
In the meantime, keep brushing twice a day with fluoride toothpaste, clean between your teeth daily and see your dentist regularly. Keep taking prescribed medicine exactly as directed. ProDentim is a supplement and does not replace any of these. For the full gaps, see the ProDentim supplement facts page.
FAQ01
Sugar and sweetener questions
Can I take ProDentim if I have diabetes?
Ask your doctor first. The sugar content is not printed in the images, and we cannot confirm it. Do not change any diabetes medicine or diet plan because of a supplement. Bring the tub's panel to your appointment.
Does a soft tablet that tastes sweet harm teeth?
It can if it holds sugar and sits on the teeth, because plaque bacteria turn sugar into acid. Whether ProDentim holds sugar is unconfirmed. Brushing with fluoride toothpaste and cleaning between teeth remain the core routine.
Should I brush right after chewing a ProDentim tablet?
The label prints no timing advice, and the sales page gives none. Rinsing with water after a sweet or acidic chew is a common low-risk habit. Ask your dentist if you want advice tailored to your teeth.
